It’s September and one year ago, our family adopted Buddy, our beagle. We feel safer knowing he is protecting our backyard.

Protection provides a sense of safety or peace. As humans, we attempt to protect worldly things, as well as caring for people. We all need a safe haven of protection in our fallen world. How do you feel protected?

God is our safest protection. Prayer provides a protecting comfort when life gets difficult. Guard your faith, nurture it, and it will grow into a shield of protection. His protection for you is limitless. Take heart, the reward of God’s protection is eternal life.

REMEMBER:
The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer. My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my Shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:2
